If you’re looking for a genuine, honest, British-built tractor that is easy to use and likely to hold its value, then this Ford 7740 SLE Turbo is well worth a look.
This is a J-registration tractor presented in lovely original condition. The bonnet has been repainted at some point in its life, but otherwise it’s a very honest, original machine that hasn’t been messed about with.

Tyres:
🛞 Rear: 420/85R38 – approximately 90%
🛞 Front: 14.9R24 – approximately 50%
The front tyres have a little perishing around the tread blocks but not on the sidewalls, so they’re perfectly usable.
Condition:
I drove this tractor back from the dealer myself and it drove home faultlessly. The gearbox is excellent, the synchromesh is good, and it changes gear exactly as it should.
The service filters are marked as having been changed at 9,846 hours, and the tractor is now showing 10,200 hours.
Points to Mention:
• Pickup hitch release cable has snapped.
• Air conditioning is currently not working.
• One battery box is missing.
That’s about it. It’s a very straight, genuine tractor that’s becoming increasingly hard to find in original condition.
